I'm lovin' your use of marks and texture here - everywhere I look there's a new pattern hiding that looks nicer than the last.

Sweet, reminds me of that big forest spirit thing in Princess Mononoke. Was that part of the inspiration?

Nice work - that added detail in the bottom right really balances out the composition.
