Everything from the pastel colour palette, the character, and the music harmonize with the whole piece. I love the subtle nod to the music artist with the logo up top, too. You're both quite skilled!

The combined music and artwork make me want to click this image as if it's a title card for a relaxing pixel game. This could look cute on youtube with some simple animation loops like snowflakes falling or smoke rising from the chimney, too--!

Thanks for the kind words Sab ^^, I still remember you leaving a review on one of my crappier art things back in 2014 and it was crazy to me at the time that an actual big artist reviewed something of mine. I've more or less ditched regular digital art for pixel art but hopefully I've improved a bit since then.

Lovely work, and great interpretation of a very bright, energetic song!

I haven't used medibang paint pro, but if that's a program that uses layers, I think you'd have a lot of fun with layer styles (like color dodge, linear dodge, or hard light) when painting stars, comets, and other glow effects. Really gives gives a nice kick to the contrast and a pop of colour!

Keep up the good work. Just going through the first of all of the contest entries now.
