I really like the minimalism here. The lines are super neat, too!

Something that strikes me as a little off are his/her feet. He/She seems to be floating in space, when the composition suggests that he/she might be standing on solid ground, stretching up to offer the little heart to his/her crush. Maybe standing on his/her tippy-toes might work better? That way you could add in a little shadow and balance out the bottom of the image. Right now it looks slightly tilted or off-balance. Could just be me, though!! xD Just trying to offer some constructive insights.

Also thanks for loving Piplup :D that was my first real attempt at color and solid line work. I know I'm not the best at color theory so I try to get my lines as clean as possible.

Love your minimalistic style here -- and how consistent you are from Pokemon to Pokemon...! You have SO MANY finished now! o_o

Just out of curiosity, are you using these for a bigger project or something? Like... for buttons, or a collage?

I think the only thing that strikes me as slightly off is golduck's centre-most hand. Could use a dark outline to add a bit of definition. The way my monitor's showing the colours right now, his arm seems to blend right into his body -- but that could just be my shitty monitor.

Thank you, the style is an experiment, I want to see how far I can strip back the original character designs while still keeping them recognisable. Im up to 101 on my tumblr ha ha.

I dont know what I will do with these when they are done, other people have suggested badges as well but I got tired of cons around 5 years ago. Ill not doubt make some kind of poster with all of them tho.

I think your right about his hand, sometimes what I see on my cintiq isn't what I see on my laptop or on other peoples screens, can be frustrating.

Pretty cool...! I think this is a first for you. Haven't seen you do a whole lot of backgrounds in your work.

I like that you've incorporated bright lighting and shadows and stuff -- but I think you're missing quite a bit of shadows and light in places. The rocks, for example, would cast pretty solid black shadows, and the characters look like they're missing some pretty intense lighting from behind them.

The rocks and what-not look pretty nice, though...!
Next time you're on Skype/visiting I'll try to show you a cool background technique you might like.
