1. Pico Day, I've been to twice. Planning to go to the next one, too. I tried going to a Canadian meetup in Western Canada once (4 hours from where I live) and I was the only one, aside from one other person, to show up. ;___;

2. Commissions are probably gonna be closed indefinitely until April 2014. :( School is getting pretty intense and I'll be teaching for 9 weeks in the winter after some more intensive studies.

3. This BETTER be the last year, SO HELP ME. Depends on class availability and funds, though. Don't have a graduation date set in stone, yet.

4. Both the sisters are doing well. Both still pursuing art in one way or another. Mom n' dad are working and trying to train their german shepherd adolescent pup, which isn't yielding much progress. lol

5. Where I live, anything involving the Oil Sands and/or being a "rig pig" is what attracts people from the outside for easy employment. You get ridiculous money for working in an isolated place in the middle of nowhere, and when you come back on the off-season, you have all this money to blow. It's not something I'd ever do, though.

1. Never actually heard of Shantae, but I think I've seen fan art for her. Darker skin, long black hair?Will look into it!

2. I keep saying I can't draw men, but really, but I think it's just the super ripped, masculine looking men that I'm anxious to attempt. I don't know any mega muscular guys (or girls for that matter) so grotesque musculature is an entirely unknown subject for me that I just DON'T know how to properly study. Also an emphatic 'no' to the lesbian bit. Big sloppy fish tacos don't appeal to me in the least. hahaha

3. A Girlbenders cameo would be SO BALLER. I'd totally just make them some stills to plop into the background somewhere as extras. Highly doubt they'd actually WANT to do that, but IT'S WORTH A SHOT. I'll see if Forosha or myself can sweet-talk them....>:3

4. Omg did I offer to send you some maple syrup and forget?? Shit, I really hope not!! D:> If so, I'm sorry! You KNOW you're a poor Canadian WHEN you can't even afford maple syrup... x_x

8. Lol I'm not one to talk Jesus theories/facts. Though I'm sure there's some interesting logic behind the statement, I honestly avoid the topic like the plague and even eavesdropping on religious debates makes me irate/uncomfortable. :P My parents are hardcore bible-thumpers, so I prefer to just avoid stoking the fire my personal views.

10. LOVE japanese food. My favourite are those little reddish baby octopus sashimi, and salmon roe.

In my 'later years' I hope to have taught abroad, I hope to be able to support my travels using comic cons and art expos during the summer months (or at least turn enough of a profit to cover travel expenses), and further my abilities in art--maybe learn animation. Honestly I'm not interested in having kids at all. lol

15. Favourite childhood video game is a tie between Super Smash Bros (N64), Pokemon Silver (Gameboy Colour), and LoZ: Ocarina of Time (N64)

16. Ed Edd n' Eddy isn't really something that I identified as 'Canadian' when I was a kid, so all of the Canadian references / patriotism / satire was completely lost on me. It's just a fun cartoon I used to watch, and I never really saw it as more than that. :P ...Sorry! Good question, though!

17. Honestly, during school, I wish I could just ingest caffeine via intravenous. I don't need the fancy bells and whistles. Just give me my fiiiix. e_e
Fun fact: I used to work for Starbucks, so I have like 10 different high maintenance drinks that I'll get depending on my mood / the time of day / the weather / etc.

Hah I kid. I'll keep it short, though. Visual Arts add a LOT of purpose and meaning to my life. My passion obviously lies in that, so I plan to base a lot of my decisions in life around the opportunity to create art, and inspire/teach others.
