THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU EVERYBODY FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY WISHES!!
I HAD MY 20th BIRTHDAY LAST WEEK, AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!

I got a whole bunch of awesome gift-art, not to mention, some of you guys were super generous, and even gave me gifts!! Wow!!

A Big thanks to JakBaronKing for sending me a big gift package all the way from Hawaii!!! I received it in the mail today, and am currently feasting on all of the goodies inside! There were a bunch signature Hawaiian treats, such as Marlin Fish Jerky (YUMMY!), three boxes of "Kauai (coffee) Kookies", two boxes of Hawaiian Host chocolates (drool), Tomoe Brand Rice crackers, a bag of Red Iso Peanuts, a bag of instant miso soup, litchi gummy candies (which I promptly devoured), Chocolate Pocky (also almost all devoured), Konpeito sugar candies, a pretty sea shell, and a nice decorative Plumeria flower!!

I was so impressed, I intend on sending back a package filled with some Canadian trinkets/goodies for his birthday to say thanks!! :D

Another very big thankyou to everyone to made me gift art!!! I intend on featuring everybody, but can only post one picture at a time, so for now, here are the two most recent from NG! :D

The cute caricature on the bottom left (as you might recognize) was drawn by my good friend and favourite artist, BizarroJoe! It was such a great surprise - I really love his style, and how cute and curvy he can make everything he draws. c:
It's on his dumping grounds if you wanna have a look-see, but I highly recommend checking out his gallery if you haven't already!!

The second one on the right is by none-other than the talented Nekow! Also a good buddy and favourite artist of mine, he painted this as a birthday gift, and I can't get over how well-done it is!! He's one of the best portrait painters I've seen in a long time, and I also highly recommend that you have a look at his gallery!!! He's got some srs skillz. The portrait itself can be found here!

Well damn, Jak certainly knows how to give a rockin' gift. There's enough there to turn a person diabetic ;) Gotta ask though... What's the fish jerky like? I've had jerky made from beef, pork, even gator, but never fish. Doesn't seem like the kind of thing you'd turn into jerkey.

Probably one of the most awesome gifts to get from someone: exotic treats!

The fish jerky, oddly enough, kind of tastes like.. fish food? lol Don't ask me why I know what that tastes like, but it's very salty and ..fishy. Tastes good to me, though!! :B

Jack Johnson - born and raised North Shore Oahu.

Tid bit of history...

He used to be a asshole surfer dude. Really completive like...
But a near death experience after hitting his head on some coral after a wipe-out made him realize the importance of good health, family, and friends.

He usually hosts his Kokua festival (a free show) up North Shore.

Local people call him the "Elvis of Mellow"
