I got into a 540 spin out on the highway during a blizzard myself this past February, wasn't enjoyable.
Doing okay; just super nervous. Never had to deal with any kind of accident before and I have to foot the bill for repairs for the lady I hit because I buy really cheap insurance... :c

I've been getting an overwhelmingly positive response for the emergency commissions -- it's really heartwarming.. People keep sending donations without wanting art in return because I already have so many commissions to do -- but I want to try and make sure that everyone gets a little something in the end.
What I did was get into a collision in my car -- my first crash.. <:C
Normally I would deal with this on my own, but I'm moving in July to a new place, and all my money is going to that. I have NO savings right now.
I feel horrible though - the accident was entirely my fault and it happened in a really dumb way. I'm still waiting to hear back about autobody repair costs from the lady whose van I hit.

Not the accident itself, but the angry stares I got from people driving by after it happened. Meeting the lady whose car I hit was the worst part. I felt like garbage... It was so embarrassing. <:(
It's definitely a relief that I can fall back on art when all else fails.
Now if I ever become homeless I can sell caricatures or something for beer money. lol

lol I just wrote "PASHOOOOOOOOOOW!" in all caps and made it fill the text box on the frontpage so it took up the whole width of the screen.
If you need cash, then go get a job. Or just sell your artwork to people. If that doesn't help, well you could just keep doing the emergency commissions. Sorry that your running low on cash :/

It's settled down a lot now, yeah. The last thing left to do is to take my car in for an estimate. The lady got back to me about the cost of the damage btw --! It was waaaaay more than I guessed... Almost double the amount of my 'worst case scenario just replacing the whole bumper' damage estimate. x___x
