Anyway, thanks for your feedback on the Sketchbook. I don't think it's all that phenominal either, seeing as it really is only a simple flash, but at the same time, I still can't get over the idea that I was even nominated. lol
In a werd, technical way, it puts me among the ranks of some pretty famous NG animators and that's a gigantic ego boost for the time being. c:

Well, if you're just starting out, you could always practice with some freeware on the internet, but the program that I use is Adobe Photoshop CS3. c:
Here's some good free programs that have most of the same stuff Adobe does. Queeky especially. It even has a layer function and you can save art directly to your computer.

New Year's? What, it's 2010 already? I guess I've been so busy with Dragon Age: Origins (I got it the day after Christmas and I think I'm around 70 hours played now) that I missed it...
Okay, seriously, though? Egg nog, fruitcake, cookies, what's not to love? Actually, funny story. I was babysitting my buddy's adorable new puppy while he was at work and she POOPED on the FLOOR! :O!!!!

By the way, as far as a flash, your sketchbook *isn't* anything special. In fact, if you're judging it that way, it's downright boring. But that's a silly way to look at it given the art that's inside!

Sweet. I've been wanting to take a stab at Dragon Age: Origins. A friend of mine bought it a while back, so I might grab it from him next time I'm there, if he's not already using it.
New Years was pretty fun alltogether, too. Had a house party at my friend's place, like I do every year. No drinking this time, but still fun. We just about missed the countdown. lol Caught it by 7 seconds!

1) You're an incredible artist! People who make good art like you do are the reason that I wish things like reviews for art, a better "favorite art" option and subscriptions were options for this site! Rock on!

Just a question, what is more fun for you- NewGrounds or Deviant?
Newgrounds seems like more of a united community to me, so I'm very inclined to say that I like it here more. At the same time, though, I've had my DeviantART account for over 5 years now, so I've really become close with the handfull of friends I've come to meet on there. lol
Definitely a tough call with that one!
