Trolls... *sigh*

Huh. I've seen the guy below me before.. He left the same review on one of my submissions.
No worries. He's just some stupid troll, as you've noticed.

Here's a 10 to counter his 0.
It's an awesome drawing anyhow, so the 10 was pretty much automatic. c:
Really cool character.

Zelldoom responds:

They are such annoying, im just kinda starting with photoshop lately, thnaks (I liked your sketchbook XD)

Nice.

Pretty cool overall, especially the character and pose, but I think you should utilize the layer feature on Corel. It eliminates all of those messy little pixel spots on the lines, and makes the drawing look way more professional. By using layers like I mentioned, you can draw the lines on a separate later, then colour on an overlying or underlying layer, totally un-affecting your lines. :) That, or you could just make a new layer over a pencil sketch (if you scanned it) and set the new blank layer to 'multiply.' Thay way, the color just goes right overtop and acts as if the pencil lines are semi-transparent.

You've obviously got a great drawing capability, so it's a shame that little pixels would distract from that.

Keep up the good work!
Just some humble constructive criticizm. c:

Manuel-Dangelo responds:

This is an earlier 2005, I learned this technique you are talking about just last year.
If you take a look to http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/manuel-dangelo/swordfish which is actually a 2009 you'll see I did use it.
Thanks any way for the cheer and I will take all of the (constructive) critics on count

RARAR >:3

Really cute. The colour scheme is perfect for a shirt.
Love the way you drew the bear.. I know he's supposed to look scary-ish, but that's just too damn adorrable. <3

Nice work. :)

yellowbouncyball responds:

Thanks!

Hooray! :D

First? :3

..Anyway, love it. Cammy and Viper especially, just because I'm totally biased and they're my all-time faves.

Great work!

Mesmic responds:

Yay Sab :) Glad you enjoyed this!

Badass!

Done in painter?
Looks awesome. Garchomp is up there on my list of favourites. :P

It looks a little rushed, in all honesty, but overall, cool pic!
Keep it up!

Horsenwelles responds:

i drew it in about an hour on artrage (its not a good editor, but its a great painting program)

and garchomp would still be on my team if i diddnt already sweep a bunch with weavile

thanks for the support Sab :D

Great to see some new work!

Everything from the perspective to the sheer action and detail in this piece is awesome.
However, her eyes don't seem quite barbaric enough to me. Maybe it's just the idea that she looks too small and cute to belong in such a violent picture.

Not saying it takes away from the greatness of the picture, though, of course! It's a nice underlying paradox that someone so smallcan kick so much ass.

Amazing work, as usual!! :)
5/5 10/10

AlvinHew responds:

Yay! Thanks Sab!

I'll see if I can make those eyes look a little more fierce.

Sexeh.

Chris Chan would be proud.
Grats on the frontpager! c:

sucho responds:

THEY LOOK SO CUTE TOGETHER

Funky. :B

Too bad about the t-shirt colours though. D:>
I think i've heard of some 3-4 colour restriction contests going on around NG, too, but that was probably ages ago. Sounds like a fun idea, all the same! c:

BizarroJoe responds:

Aah, don't worry about it!
To be honest, I'm thinking of making comics using a similar way of coloring!
... I kinda liked it...
Thank you for posting here!
...
(BTW, who has marked this review as "useless"...? Ah, if I catch that scrat!)
EDIT: V THAT'S MUCH BETTER V

AWWW <:C

Just looking at this has makes me feel physically sad! D:>
Poor birdie....!! 3:>

ReNaeNae responds:

One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do
Two can be as bad as one
It's the loneliest number since the number one
ahhh

SUPER CUTE.

The eyes were what drew me to check out the rest of this piece. They're such a pretty tinge of gold... Eyes really seem to be a focal point in a lot of your artwork, actually. You're really good at drawing them!

The one thing little that I just can't get over, unfortunately, is her arm! xC
..The elbow just strikes me as too tucked in and short, despite the rest of the picture being so nicely drawn and coloured.

Sorry.. It's not something I pointed out to be a jerk; just thought I should bring it up for the sake of constructive criticizm.

GREAT WORK! <3
(grats on that frontpager, too!)

Moosh responds:

Haha, no, thank you for the crits! XD I'm still learning and it's great to hear from great artists such as yourself ^^

I think... I made her head too big at first so I had to lift the shoulders without making them look too broad which caused a confusion with the proportional arm length...

...either that or it's excuses to hide the fact that I have bad anatomy... ><
