EDIT: 9/10/10: THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR DONATIONS AND SUPPORT!! I will no longer be accepting donations/sponsorships, seeing as the run is only a couple of hours away.
I've raised a grand total of $448.00 CDN thanks to the Newgrounds community, I completely DESTROYED my original goal of a mere two hundred and fifty bucks. c:

So... Us crazy Canadians have this little thing called The Gorilla Run:

On September 11th, 2010, I will run 5 kilometers in a gorilla suit around the Edmonton Valley Zoo, along with two friends, who will also be dressed up as gorillas!! The event is meant to raise money for the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund because there are only an estimated 740 mountain gorillas left in the world! :C

From now until September 10th, I will be actively seeking out people to sponsor me for this run to make a donation (any ammount that you feel is appropriate). My goal is $250.00, and in person, I've already pestered my friends, family and co-workers. If there is anyone out there who thinks it'd be awesome for Sabtastic to don a gorilla suit and go for a run, please, feel free to donate!!!! But please, before you do, carefully read the info at the bottom of this journal entry.

I'll be sure to post some pictures after the event takes place.

lol There will probably be something on youtube by the time the event is over, but the only thing I can guaruntee right now is photos, because the friend that I'm bringing with me has a digital SLR camera, but it doesn't have video capability. <:C

lol! Well, I plan on investing in one of those camelback water bottles -- that way I can have something to stay hydrated at all times, and at won't need to carry around a water bottle. :D

..Hopefully the weather is a little on the cooler side that day, too. XD
