Whoaa...

You really are a master with colour. I wish I could do backgrounds like you!
I usually bore myself to death with pointless detail and don't get around to finishing my artwork. You manage to make your backgrounds draw attention to the subject, rather than pull attention away from it, like mine do. :T

Thank you ^_^ !!! *huggle* !!

Badass.

I haven't even looked at your other artwork yet, and I can tell you're my new favourite NG artist. Your work is so inspiring!
You've given him an interesting realistic spin - something you don't see often in his fan art. Very refreshing.

If I could say one constructive thing about this picture, I'd probably have to comment on Spyro's front feet. The foot closest to the viewer seems slightly distorted, maybe even too small, but it's not nearly distracting enough to take away from the overall aesthetic value of the piece. I'd still give this a 10 beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Cheers!

Hella cute.

That is just too cute for words. Makes me want to play some Melee/Brawl!
I love the simplicity of the colours, and how you masterfully kept things simple so that the two characters looked convincing in the same picture.

At the same time, I can't help but look at this in a 'America's Funniest Home Videos' perspective -- the way Link is balancing on that Pokeball, with Pikachu's weight offsetting it, he's bound to biff if this picture were capable of resuming into real-time. hehe

Syringes responds:

XD Thanks! I havent played the game in about a year, I want to SOOO bad, but my bro owns it.

HAHA I was thinking about the physics of this image and wanted to animate them slowly tipping over, haha, too bad links shield cant keep them propped up. x]

I get the reference - nice work! :O

An amazing salute to Alphonse Mucha. I love his style. It's inspired me to re-create it as well. I think you duplicated it quite nicely. c:

OMG FAV FAV FAV FAV :D

I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it. :B
AWESOME WORK!

Everything about it makes it look suitable for a billboard or cartoon series. It's just so colorful, balanced and pleasing to the eye. c:

Where'd you get the texture/pattern on her dress from?? I love it!

Keep it up, Mandie!

PixelCake responds:

Sab XD Hi how was the gorilla run? :D
and thank you XD I got it from gimei at deviantart

NICE.

I wish I had your skills when it comes to drawing/painting metal surfaces! I'm learning from you just by looking at this piece, so thanks!! :D

I really love the glowing/fiery interior, too. Nice job!

Nekow responds:

I wish I had your skills at drawing the female figure. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

Colouring Book Quality

Looks just like it was taken out of a Disney colouring book! Really, Vana. You've out-done yourself with this one.

I like how the far background was appropriately left lineless, to draw less attention to itself. I like the effect of distance you've created using line thickness. The viewer's eye is drawn to the bottom left nicely, so to fully appreciate the subjects, and the colours match up pretty much exactly to what I would picture in an actual Winnie The Pooh cartoon. :D

Great job with the lines, the colouring, the poses, and the proportions. c:
No question that this gets a nice 10/10.

P.S: How long does something like this usually take you?

LinaInverseFan responds:

Thanks Sab, your such a dear.

Lets see, I worked on this for about 3 weeks. I probably spent a good 30-40 hours on this specific image, at the very least if not more. Coloring was the easiest part. The hardest part was the linework, I was learning and practicing the pen tool, as you can obviously tell.

I really appreciate the praise. Thanks again.

Damn Yuppies.. :P

Nice!
The colours speak volumes about the piece, too.

I AM EXCITE! 8D

Like I said in the PM, man: this is awesome!!
Thank you SO much!!

I really love the painterly feel to it, and the fact that I could get something like this as gift from such a talented artist just blows me away. Your generosity won't go unrewarded!! :D

Really, we've gotta do an art trade or something one'a these days!!
*puts your work up on the wall* c:

Thanks again, Nekow!! <3

Nekow responds:

Thanks, I'm really glad that you liked it! :3

Pretty..!

Oooo..! I feel like I'm looking up through the canopy of a rain forest! <3

You're a champ for actually finishing this when Photoshop decided to be a bitch about it, though! Depending on how much I'd lose, I normally just /ragequit and never open the image ever again. Dx<

..Hate it when my craptop crashes.. Or sensitivity goes down the drain, for that matter.

Anyway, Again:
AWESOME PIECE.

LOVE IT! :D

Kamikaye responds:

I kinda expected some problems when doing this because it was the first image in CS 4. But it sucks that the problem seems to be the old drivers of the GT , but Aiptek sucks at software , they never made x64 drivers.
Just some instable XP drivers which I dont use. I actually use Win2000 Drivers on Win 7 x64 D= but I lack the money for a wacom. and I dont think that wacom really deserves such a shitload of money for more pressure levels.

lol long answer :D
